3D islands of heat form inside the skin and force a rebuild around them
Bulk photothermal heating · collagen contraction · adipocyte injury
whole-dermis or fat-layer heating held at ~40 °C; collagen tightens, fat cells are stressed

Non-ablative photothermal contraction · collagen contraction & remodeling
SMOOTH heat shrinks existing collagen and triggers new collagen, nothing is removed

a gentle heat signal wakes dormant biology instead of destroying anything
